Portrait Photography

What my husband and I love about Meghan’s photography is how she is able to capture the true personality and character of each moment. Meghan took our maternity pictures, our baby daughter’s newborn pictures, and created our birth announcements. We and our family are so impressed with everything she has done for us and would never think of going to a cold studio to do half the quality she does at twice the cost. A couple of things that we loved was how patient she is at really getting to know the subjects so that she can capture intimate moments AND how thoughtful she is at ensuring their comfort. For our maternity pictures she walked around the Botanical Gardens with us quite a while and caught Greg and me in pure and honest moments of happiness, fun and affection. For our daughter’s newborn pictures, she brought her own space heater and props to ensure Anna’s comfort. The results of both sessions are proof of how excellent she is at what she does. We’ve decided to never go anywhere else as long as we have Meghan available to do our pictures. I’m telling all my pregnant and mommy friends about her photography!

I have known people who taught themselves how to be a photographer, but I know no one else who has grasped the art of photography as well as Meghan has.  She is passionate about capturing the beauty in this world.  She may have been more nervous than me about taking photos of my active and wiggly child (who is a wonderfully easygoing, but rarely smiles), but she did a wonderful job.   She showed me many great photos and continued to give me options well after I had chosen my favorite.   She is dedicated to her art, hard working, and her commitment to excellence has certainly paid off.  I’m happy for her that she found something that she loves, especially since she’s so good at it!

I am always impressed with the photos Meghan takes of our family. Even when our baby is not in a good mood, somehow Meghan still takes fantastic pictures. Meghan has a knack for capturing personality and does it beautifully. She has created countless frameable and timeless shots of our baby. Her shots are perfect for sending to our family all over the country, that don’t get to see our baby often. Meghan is easy to work with, and she enjoys taking photos to the extent that I don’t know who enjoys the pictures more, us or her! She will ask you what kind of photos you hope to get, and she adds her artistry to your ideas. She has great vision and ability, and I cringe when I think of ever having to go to a different photographer for photos. I recommend Meghan to anyone, especially those with children that are highly energetic and difficult to contain in a portrait studio setting. The photos we have from Meghan are priceless, and are now part of our family’s treasures!

Meghan was kind enough to meet us in downtown Huntsville and walk around taking pictures of us one evening.  The pictures turned out FABULOUS!!  We can’t stop looking at them. Craig and I are very impressed and so happy with how they turned out.  Every one of them could be framed and placed on our wall.  We are having a hard time deciding which ones to develop. I look forward to sharing all of them with family & friends and happily recommend Meghan to people I know in the area.  Meghan — Thank you again so much. Meghan took photos of my children in Big Springs park for Easter.  I cannot tell you how beautiful they were.  She captured the true personalities of my children.  I have had so many people raving on the pictures.  The kids loved her and we all had a great time.  I am telling everyone I know about her.

Artistic Prints

I recently purchased three 5X7 prints (pictures of the cotton field) from Meghan’s Web site, and I couldn’t have been more pleased! The checkout experience was easy, and the photos were shipped the next day. The prints were of the highest quality, and they looked amazing in the matte and frame I chose to put them in. Meghan’s photos made a wonderful Christmas present, and I look forward to purchasing more of her beautiful prints.
